When you have an issue with your classroom computer, laptop, internet connection, or any RSU1 supported software or network service, please check here. Oftentimes, your request has been asked by a colleague.

How to use this Wiki

Before e-mailing or calling the HelpDesk, please review this wiki for a possible solution to your technology related issue.

Many times, a colleague has had a similar issue. This space will be a repository for all HelpDesk requests and solutions.

General Tech Support

Creating Websites

Blogs

  • All staff members have access to RSU1's blogging server and software.
  • Go to: http://blogs.rsu1.org/
  • Log in with your username (<firstinitial><lastname>) and Novell password.
  • Follow the prompts to create your blog.


Wiki

Moodle

Joomla

  • Joomla is a free and open source Web Content Management System. RSU1 is in the process of moving all school websites to Joomla. If you would like to use Joomla to create your own classroom website, contact HelpDesk.


HTML

  • All staff members have access to a webserver to host a traditonal HTML website. If you would like to create an HTML website by hand, contact the HelpDesk.

Teacher MacBooks

Student MacBooks

HelpDesk - All Student MLTI MacBook issues should be reported to the Student HelpDesk in Room 419 at BRCTC.

Printing - All students will utilize the printing services in RM 10 at Morse High School. Studnet-1 and Student-2 will be available for printing at all times. Students must report to RM 10 after printing to pick up their print job.
